I was visiting family and had lost a filling. My wife had used Tideland Dental a few months ago and was established as a patient. She called to see if I could be seen and was able to get me an appointment the same day. The entire staff was very friendly and the treatment I got was exceptional. I was established as a patient also and we are both going back for a cleaning and treatment plan. I would highly recommend them.

I live in a rural area of Maine and couldn’t find anyone to fix my toothache. I came on a planned vacation when my tooth wasn’t super painful but I pulled into Myrtle beach and was crying in pain. We arrived at 6pm, I was frantic and by 8 I was googling emergency dentists in the area. I was MISERABLE. So I went on their website, Dr cleary has been around and family has seen him, so I thought, what the heck? I’m in so much pain I would’ve accepted meth off the street if I had to. I scheduled the appt, it was SUPER easy. I had texts the next morning to confirm and signed the additional documents. Went in, and had the best hygienist, she was a little Puerto Rican spitfire that has now become my best friend even though I can’t remember her name because I’m a horrible person. Lol. Anyways, he was gonna try a root canal but the tooth was fractured too much, so they pulled it. Dr Cloninger was top notch and gave me the best care. I had 12 pieces of tooth flying but had pain relief so I didn’t even care. He fixed me up despite my whining and it was cheaper than I expected. Please consider this dentist, they’re amazing. My parents saw them before I moved them to Maine. I plan to fly down to this practice for any further dentistry I may need

It's been a few weeks since my extraction and I wanted to let y'all know about my experience. I couldn't be seen by another dentist because and had my extraction planned for 2.5 months away. I told them in person I was in pain and they said "find someone who can do it sooner" and I found Tidelands Dental. They were so friendly and eager to see me. They saw be during Tropical Storm Debby. They were very understanding and said they could help me the same day I went in for my consultation. Dr Cloninger was like a big brother. He knew how to calm me down and his staff explained everything to me. The only issue I had was they were not in my network BUT I'm pain-free now and no more nerve pain. They really know what they're doing. I didn't really feel much of anything. Recovery wasn't that bad either and I had 3 teeth removed and one was a wisdom tooth. Thank you guys so much. I was beside myself with my dental issues but you were really there for me so THANK YOU so much!!!!

Dr Cleary is very professional and very entertaining. A lot of people don’t like going to the dentist but I don’t mind because I know I’m going to be entertained as well

I had an emergency filling since I had lost my two previous molars due to carelessness, so I went there and they attended me very quickly, excellent attention from the reception to Dr. Cleary, I loved his patience and dedication to the patient, I recommend this place and Dr. Cleary 100%.

This was my first visit to Tidelands Dental and I’m so glad I chose Dr. Raymond Cleary! The office was clean and I was called back right on schedule! Wanda was my hygienist and was incredibly nice and I honestly have to say she cleaned my teeth better than they have ever been cleaned. Dr. Raymond Cleary was kind and explained what my options were…HE GAVE ME OPTIONS!! He did not pressure me to do anything I wasn’t comfortable doing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! All the employees at Tideland Dental are pleasant, attentive and helpful. Dr. Cleary leads the office with kindness and humor. Dr.Cleary takes the the time to check on his patients after hours on their health and comfort.

I have avoided the dentist for quite a while, Tidelands dental was fantastic, got my broken tooth fixed the same day. The staff were great, and the dentist had a great sense of humor and made for a basically pain-free experience. I really like the fact that the dentist was very straight with me and helped me get the best value for my dollar. My wife has also had good experiences there as well.

AWESOME OFFICE STAFF AND DR CLEARY IS THE CATS MEOW

My first time having to have a a tooth pulled since I was in my teens. I have never had a wisdom tooth pulled before so I was expecting this to be a horrible experience. I absolutely love this dental place from the girl who stayed in there with me making me comfortable and calm to an excellent dentist. The dentist was amazing and very reassuring. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
